Please join us for the 17th Annual Wag n’ Walk on May 5th at Shoreline Park in Monterey.
This event is a 2 or 4 mile walk benefiting The SPCA for Monterey County, the heart of animal rescue since 1905.
This fundraiser helps our SPCA for Monterey County care for more than 5,500 homeless animals each year.

Registration Times
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. (with a continental breakfast), the walk begins at 9:30 a.m. and the fun lasts until noon.
Event Festivities
FUN * FOOD * CONTESTS * PRIZES
- Enjoy a continental breakfast and picnic lunch, while visiting with other walkers and their furry four legged best friends.
- Have your team photo taken and pick up your incentive items.
- Meet SPCA Humane Officers, the “Animal Cops” of Monterey County, get free behavior tips from The SPCA’s Pet Behavior Specialist and learn how The SPCA helps injured and orphaned wildlife…all at The SPCA for Monterey County booths.
- Visit our great sponsor booths, like Petco, and take a chance on winning prizes or have your pet sample delicious treats.
- Enter fun contests with your pet. Pet/Person Look-alike, Best Pet Costume and a Best/Smartest Pet Trick contests will begin at 11:00 a.m.
