We are Walking in Memory of our Beloved Nikki

On Saturday, May 5th, Sammy & I will be walking with hundreds of other wonderful people and their dogs in 17th Annual Wag'n Walk, a walk to help end pet homelessness. I hope you will sponsor us as we walk to raise essential money for The SPCA for Monterey County and all their important services. Last year's walk raised over $100,000 for the shelter animals and we hope to break that record this year!

In Loving Memory of Nikki

2002 was the 1st year Nikki (at age 5) & I participated in the SPCA Wag'n Walk. Nikki just loved meeting all of the other doggies. I was worried if she could keep up with the other dogs during the walk due to her short little legs...Boy was I wrong! Nikki took off walking & could out walk any of the other dogs...She didn't want to quit at the 2 mile point...it was just me (her Mom) that had a hard time keeping up with her & could only go the 2 miles. After our 1st Wag'n Walk, we have been there ever since. Nikki will be missed dearly this year, but Sammy (her adopted Bro) & I will walk in her Memory, She will be with us in Spirit, till we meet again :-)
